Performing Arts Workshops’ STORY SLAM CAMP (for ages 9-14) will help your child find their voice in the most ultimate form of self-expression! The campers are provided with a supportive, safe space where they create and write short stories, scripts & poems which are compelling, moving, and impactful! The kids will get to draw inspiration from their own experiences while learning how to use writing principles including rhyme, alliteration, similes, metaphors, symbolism, and tone. This camp also places a focus on Language Arts Skills such as diction, voice & speech, storytelling, and freestyle. By balancing these principles along with powerful literary elements… your child will take their writing to a whole new level!
